For me, these quotes form a kind of metaphorical triptych, truths tripled and inscribed on the spiritual tablets of each of our lives. They sum up a philosophy of life, a set of beliefs by which we can live abundantly and healthfully in mind, body and spirit should we reflect upon, form an understanding of, commit to and act in resonance with their collective message.
We have within, the possibility to lead ourselves into a future of our choosing. What lies within us is immense, powerful and extraordinary. And the expression of this inner energy can become our future – how we will live, who we will be and what we will become.
In all of us there is a bountiful, inescapable energy which demands that we grow and become. It is the life force to which Oliver Wendell Holmes alludes – the wondrous and mighty drive for greatness of self, within us; our core energy which awaits expression. It is innate and inherent. We cannot avoid its force.
